Carù consiglia2 CD. A sette anni di distanza dal primo volume, Hal Willner, Johnny Depp e Gore Verbinski sono riusciti a portare a termine una seconda parte ancora più bella. Le canzoni dei pirati, meno trucide e più brillanti, rivedute e corrette da veri corsari del rock: Tom Waits ( Shenandoah è fantastica ), Keith Richards, Shane MacGowan, Robyn Hitchcock, Beth Orton, Nick Cave, Iggy Pop, Michael Stipe, Dr. John, Ivan Neville, Richard Thompson, Marianne Faithfull, Michael Gyra, Patti Smith, Chuck E Weiss, Shipa Ray, The Americans e molti molti altri. Un disco dannatamente affascinante. Tutti i brani ( eccetto Zappa) registrati per l'occasione.

Although not mentioned neither on the rear inlay nor on the booklet (which only lists 15 tracks), track 1 is a six second intro by DJ Tommy Vance "Whichever way you look at it, there are only four Small Faces, but there is just one Small Faces LP"; the last 9 seconds of track 16 are an outro with introduction of the members of the band (supposedly by the same uncredited DJ).
