Originari di Portland, Oregon, i Greylag sono al disco d'esordio. La band è formata da Andrew Stonestreet (lead vocal, acoustic guitar), Daniel Dixon (lead guitar, keyboards ) e Brady Swan (drums ). La produziione è affidata al veterano Phil Ek ( Band of Horses, Fleet Foxes, Modest Mouse, The Shins) che ha prodotto il disco a Seattle. Venature folk in un suono rock, canzoni intelligenti che si avvicinano a certe cose dgli ultimi Decemberists.
