Dave Davies, il fratello più giovane di Ray, anima dei Kinks, torna con un lavoro da solista, dopo diversi anni di silenzio. Meno attivo di Ray, Dave è comunque un rocker onesto, scrive buona canzoni e quando si impegna, come in questo caso, è in grado di produrre dei dischi più che soddisfacenti. In questo album lo aiutano membri dei Jayhawks, Anti-Flag, il chitarrista blues inglese Oli Brown, Chris Spedding, membri della band stoner Dead Meadow ed altri.
