Carù consigliaSiamo nel 1979 ed i Flamin' Groovies sono in una formazione particolarmente valida: Cyril Jordan, Chris Wilson, Mike Wilhelm (ex Charlatans, scomparso di recente ), George Alexander e David Wright. Con Jumpin' in The Night edito solo qualche mese prima, la band è al massimo della sua forza. Ed il concerto, inciso a San Francisco, in una location particolarmente affascinante ( Villancourt Fountains ) regala eccellenti versioni di Shake Some Action e Tell Me Again. Ma la parte del leone la fanno le covers: I'll Feel a Whole Lot Better ( Byrds), Please Pleas Me e From Me to You ( Beatles ), Paint it Black, Around and Around e 19th Nervous Breakdown ( Rolling Stones), Baby Please Don't Go ( Them ), Fall on You ( Moby Grape) e I Want You Bad ( NRBQ ).
