La formazione di questo disco è quella che appariva nell'album Drama, edito nel 1980: Trevor Horn, Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White, Geoff Downes. Trevor Horn voce solista, come in Drama. Fly From Here - Return Trip contiene anche una canzone inedita Don't Take No for an Answer, registrata nel 2011, con Steve Howe voce solista. Inoltre c'è anche la versione completa di Hour of Need, Bella confezione in digipack, stile libro rilegato.
