Americano, ma residente in Canada perchè renitente alla leva, Jesse ha passato gran parte degli anni settanta fuori dagli Usa. Questo concerto, Montreal, Ottobre 1976, è una sorta di ringraziamento nei confronti del presidente Carter che gli aveva concesso la grazia, aprendogli di nuovo i confini Americani. Il concerto, molto bello, ci fa gustare alcuni dei classici di Jesse: da Yankee Lady a Mississippi You're on My Mind, passando attraverso canzoni senza tempo come Let The Good Times Roll,Blow Out Chilly Wind, Let The Rough Side Drag, Bowling Green, Brand New Tennesse Waltz. Incisione eccellente. Copia non sigillata.
