4LP. Through The Open Window racconta la storia dell'emergere e della maturazione di Dylan come cantautore e performer, dal natìo Minnesota alla vita da bohèmiene nel Greenwich Village dei primi anni '60.

Questa raccolta include rari outtakes della Columbia Records, registrazioni effettuate durante concerti in club, in piccoli incontri informali, negli appartamenti di amici e durante jam session in ritrovi di musicisti ormai scomparsi. Molte delle registrazioni sono estremamente rare, altre non sono mai state presentate in nessuna forma.

Un resoconto unico dei primi anni di Dylan, quando affinò il suo talento e trasformò canzoni folk tradizionali e bozzetti di testi in alcune delle sue canzoni più grandi e intramontabili, tra cui “Blowin' in the Wind” e “The Times They Are A-Changin'”.
